Residents of Pune have been exposed to poor air quality for more than 60 per cent of the past 90 days. An analysis of CPCB data by CREA shows Pune residents experienced hazardous air quality on 57 of the last 89 days (February–April). Experts warn that long-term exposure raises risks of respiratory and cardiovascular diseases.
