Eighteen hours was all it took for a newlywed groom in Madhya Pradesh’s Shivpuri district to end his marriage. The man cut off the nuptial ties with his bride shortly after finding out that she belonged to another caste. The wedding, held with Hindu rituals at a local temple, ended in a police station the next day.
