A video has shown Rakul Preet Singh walking off as a reporter asked her about her father-in-law, producer Vashu Bhagnani, at IIFA Awards. "There are reports coming...about Vashu sir and a lot of people have said...," said the reporter, before Rakul cut her off, apologised and walked off. Director Ali Abbas Zafar accused Bhagnani of non-payment of ₹7.3 crore dues.
