Sports Secretary Hari Ranjan Rao said India is ready to host mega events like the Olympics. "The infrastructure that was built [for Commonwealth Games] is still there and being put to use by athletes and various people who are stakeholders," he stated. Rao added, "Olympics or not, we need to give our future generations very good quality sporting infrastructure."
