Indian Ambassador Naveen Srivastava met Nepal's newly-appointed PM Sushila Karki at her office and conveyed PM Narendra Modi's congratulatory message to her. In his message, PM Modi "expressed India's commitment to work together for strengthening close bonds of friendship between India and Nepal." Karki became first woman PM of Nepal following massive anti-government protests led by the youth.
