Nvidia announced that it will acquire 2.9% stake and invest $1 billion in Nokia. Following the news, shares of Nokia jumped 21% in Helsinki, biggest gain since 2013. Nvidia's chips will be used to accelerate Nokia's software for 5G and 6G networks. Further, Nvidia will be using Nokia's data centre technology in its own AI infrastructure, they said.
