Gangsters from Pakistan's Katcha kidnapped two Hindus from their home in Kalywali. Another man named Saleem Niazi was abducted from Muradpur. Kabul Sukhani, who carries PKR 10-million bounty (over ₹30 lakh), claimed responsibility for the kidnappings. Dacoits reportedly released a video of the hostages, demanding release of an accomplice held by police. They threatened to harm the victims.
