Austrian court found ex-property billionaire Rene Benko guilty of one count of insolvency-related fraud. This marks his first criminal conviction related to collapse of real estate group Signa. He was handed two-year prison sentence over transfer of €300,000 (₹3.07 crore) to his mother. Signa became biggest casualty of Europe's property downturn, which led to €300 million in possible damages.
