India pacer Renuka Singh Thakur lost her father Kehar Singh Thakur when she was three years old. Thakur was a cricket enthusiast who wished for his children to excel in sports. She left home to join Dharamshala cricket academy at age 13. Renuka played ICC Women's World Cup with a tattoo dedicated to her father inscribed on her hand.
