Anupam Kher spoke about his directorial 'Tanvi The Great' losing major investor, jeopardising the film. Kher turned to his friends for crowdfunding the movie. He revealed, "[The main cast] Arvind Swamy, Jackie Shroff, Pallavi Joshi, and Boman Irani, I went to them and explained the situation. I said, 'I will pay you,' and they replied, 'Did we ask for it?'"
