According to a study, long-term exposure to particulate matter (PM2.5) has a significant impact on male fertility, while women, particularly those above the age of 35, are more affected by prolonged exposure to road traffic noise. Road traffic noise was associated with a small increased risk of male infertility for those aged between 37-45, but not those aged between 30-37.
