Banks are projected to cut up to 2,00,000 jobs globally over the next three to five years as AI increasingly takes over tasks performed by humans, Bloomberg Intelligence reported following a survey of Chief information and technology officers. Back office, middle office and operations are likely to be most at risk. Respondents included banks like Citigroup, JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs.
