At least ten Naxals, including a senior leader Manoj alias Modem Balkrishna, were killed in an encounter in Chhattisgarh's Gariaband district on Thursday. He reportedly carried a bounty of ₹1 crore on his head. It was a joint operation by Special Task Force (STF), CoBRA (Commando Battalion for Resolute Action-a CRPF unit) and other state police units.
