The 3-bite rule allows a person to take a few bites of their favourite foods instead of completely avoiding them. As per experts, the first bite serves as taste introduction, while the second usually provides more sensory satisfaction, and by the third, the brain signals that the craving has been satisfied. The bite should be a teaspoon, a nutritionist said.
