Filmmaker Pankaj Parashar said he was working on a series when he was told about casting Manoj Bajpayee. Parashar revealed he sent Anubhav Sinha to receive Manoj at the airport in Mumbai. Parashar added that Anubhav saw Manoj's face and took him to a beauty parlour for facial and then brought him to his house.
