PM Narendra Modi, while inaugurating the 38th National Games in Dehradun, said that India was making significant efforts to host the 2036 Olympics. He said the National Games being held in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand will also benefit the local economy. Around 10,000 athletes and officials from 38 teams will be participating in the 18-day National Games in Uttarakhand.
