The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has initiated a crackdown on unauthorised overhead cables after a citizen was injured. Over 40 kilometres of cables have been removed in the last three days. Manisha Shekatkar, head of the PMC’s electrical department, confirmed that the campaign to remove illegal overhead cables has begun, and it will continue for the next few days.
