The Indian rupee hit a fresh all-time low of 88.36 against the US dollar on Friday as it fell 21 paise due to foreign fund outflows and renewed global tensions. The currency had settled at 88.15 on Thursday. "Rupee is holding near its record low despite aggressive fiscal steps. Market is reacting more to external factors," a market expert said.
