Both Rajya and Lok Sabha were adjourned till 2 pm on Monday owing to ruckus by MPs over the comments made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in London about democracy being attacked. Ministers Rajnath Singh and Piyush Goyal demanded Rahul's apology. Congress' Mallikarjun Kharge rebuked Goyal's demand, saying calling Rahul to Rajya Sabha was condemnable as he isn't a member.
