A Delhi man outsmarted scammer impersonating his college senior who is an IAS officer. The scammer said a friend was selling furniture at throwaway prices and asked for money via QR Code. The man used ChatGPT to create fake payment portal which captured scammer's geolocation and front camera image. As the man threatened to expose scammer, he "begged" for forgiveness.
