The number of millionaire households in India has nearly doubled from 4.58 lakh in 2021 to 8.71 lakh in 2025, the Mercedes-Benz Hurun India Wealth Report 2025 said. This growth amounts to India adding one millionaire household every 30 minutes, YourStory reported. Millionaire households comprise 0.31% of all Indian households and are projected to keep rising, the Hurun report said.
