A TCS employee was forced to resign last year while he was on emergency leave as his father was in the ICU, IT employees' union FITE said. It claimed that TCS denied his gratuity despite his having sufficient leave balance. It added that after the employee approached the Mumbai Labour Office, TCS was summoned and ordered to pay full gratuity.
