'Kantara: Chapter 1' became highest-grossing Indian film of 2025, surpassing Vicky Kaushal-starrer 'Chhaava', reported Hindustan Times. According to Hombale Films, it earned ₹809 crore, overtaking 'Chhaava' total collection of ₹807 crore. As per Sacnilk, it minted ₹ 560.29 crore at Indian box office. Amid its successful theatrical run, makers announced release of film's English version this month.
