IDFC Limited on Friday said its board has approved the merger of the company with IDFC FIRST Bank after getting approval from the National Company Law Tribunal. Under the scheme, IDFC Financial Holding Company will merge with IDFC on September 30. This combined entity will then merge into IDFC FIRST Bank on October 1.
