Flight operations at Nepal’s Tribhuvan International Airport were halted due to short circuit in airfield lighting system, officials said. "Problem has been reported in airfield lighting system of the runway...At least five flights are on hold as of now," confirmed TIA spokesperson Renji Sherpa. Seeping of rainwater into wire lane of runway might have resulted in short circuit, officials said.
