Veteran BJP leader Vijay Kumar Malhotra passed away at AIIMS Delhi on Tuesday. The 93-year-old leader served as the first president of the BJP's Delhi unit. A five-time MP and two-time MLA from Delhi, he defeated Manmohan Singh in the 1999 general election, and was the only BJP candidate to win a seat in Delhi in the 2004 general election.
