Pakistani government failed to find a buyer for the debt-ridden national carrier Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) after rejecting its sole bidding offer for being "too low". The government had set a minimum sale price of PKR 85 billion (approximately ₹2,580 crore) for a 60% stake in PIA but the bid was made for PKR 10 billion (over ₹300 crore).
