Delhi Government suffered a revenue loss of ₹2,002 crore due to the now-scrapped 2021-22 excise policy of AAP government, the CAG report revealed. The report flagged violations in the process of issuing licences. It said that the recommendations of an expert panel were ignored, favouring private wholesalers instead of a government-controlled entity. Key decisions were taken without LG's approval.
