The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on Monday expelled 27 leaders, including two sitting MLAs, four former legislators, and an MLC, for alleged anti-party activities ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections. RJD state chief Mangani Lal Mandal said the leaders were suspended for “defying the party’s ideology” and working against I.N.D.I.A bloc candidates. Polls are on November 6 and 11.
