Great Place to Work India's report found that women constitute only 26% of India's workforce, a number that has remained stagnated for three years. While 28% of individual contributors are women, the number drops to 19% for front-line managers and 8% for CEOs. Career interruptions post-maternity, rigid work models and unclear promotion pathways are fuelling their attrition and career stagnation.
