The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has initiated enforcement action against Air India after finding that the inspection of the emergency slide was overdue on an aircraft, Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol said on Monday. "DGCA immediately grounded the aircraft till the required rectification was carried out," Mohol told the Rajya Sabha.
