The face of Saint Nicholas of Myra who inspired Santa Claus has been recreated by scientists. Scientists used forensic facial reconstruction (FFR) or forensic facial approximation (FFA) to reconstruct the face. It is an auxiliary recognition technique that reconstructs/approximates a person's face from their skull and is used when there is scarce information for identification of an individual.
