The US Air Force's 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron, also known as 'Hurricane Hunters', has shared a video showing the "stadium effect" created by the eye of the category 5 storm Hurricane Erin. "These missions provide critical data to the National Hurricane Center to improve forecasts, helping keep communities safe before the storm makes landfall," it said.
