India began their U19 Women's T20 World Cup campaign on Sunday by beating West Indies in Kuala Lumpur. Batting first, West Indies scored 44 runs in 13.2 overs which India chased down in just 4.2 overs at the loss of one wicket. VJ Joshitha, who took two wickets in two overs, was named the Player of the Match.
