An 18-year-old first-year MBBS student died after he and others were forced to stand for three hours during ragging by their seniors at a medical college in Gujarat's Patan. Police have registered an FIR against 15 second-year MBBS students following the incident. According to the FIR, the accused subjected him and others to "mental and physical torture".
