India's Ministry of External Affairs on Thursday said some Indian companies have received licences to import rare earth magnets from China. While the ministry didn't name the companies, reports stated Continental India, De Diamond and Hitachi are among them. The move signals easing in China's rare earth export restrictions imposed earlier this year.
