Hindu organisations protested outside a police station in Meerut after the sale of a house to a person from another community. The protesters recited the Hanuman Chalisa and said that they would not allow Hindu families to migrate while demanding deal worth ₹1.5 crore to be cancelled. Buyer Saeed Ahmed was summoned to station but fell ill on the way.
