IISc Bangalore has maintained its position as the top Indian university in the latest Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026. Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences, Jamia Millia Islamia, Shoolini University of Biotechnology and Management Sciences, BHU, IIT Indore, KIIT University, LPU, Mahatma Gandhi University and UPES also made it to the list.
