Senior advocate at Supreme Court, Prashant Bhushan accused Nitish Kumar's government in Bihar of leasing out nearly 1,000 acres of land in Bhagalpur to a major industrial conglomerate at ₹1 per annum. "The deal would result in an estimated annual loss of ₹5,000 crore to state exchequer," Bhushan added. Bihar's industry minister Nitin Mishra has dismissed all accusations of wrongdoing.
