At least one person died and several others were hospitalised after chlorine gas leaked from a cylinder used for water purification in Maharashtra’s Vasai-Virar on Tuesday. The gas leaked from the water tank of the Vasai-Virar Municipal Corporation, after which fire brigade teams reached the spot and evacuated the area. An investigation is being conducted into the incident.
