Astronauts aboard Tiangong space station lit a matchstick to demonstrate how fire behaves without gravity. Instead of the usual flickering flame, they observed a steady flame which looked bluer. Unlike on Earth, in microgravity, hot air doesn’t rise, so no upward airflow forms, making the fire diffuse in a luminous ball. This demonstrates how heat and combustion change without gravity.
