After NPP withdrew support from the BJP-led Manipur government, Meghalaya CM and party leader Conrad Sangma said that the state needed a change of guard. We have been stressing that the Central government should intervene and get a leadership change done, Sangma added. "We've had several discussions internally, but not publicly to avoid complications." Sangma further said.
