After a meeting with protesting junior doctors, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee announced she has agreed to their several demands. She stated she has decided to remove Director of Medical Education (DME), Director of Health Services (DHS) and Kolkata Police Commissioner Vineet Goyal. Goyal will hand over responsibilities to a new CP after 4 pm on Tuesday, she stated.
