Gangster Uttam Yadav, who released a video in March daring the police to catch him, was allegedly killed in an encounter in Jharkhand on Saturday. Described by the police as a "longstanding headache", Yadav was killed after being wounded in a gunfight as he opened fire on police personnel. He had multiple murder, robbery, and extortion cases against him.
