Mauritius PM Navinchandra Ramgoolam on Thursday revealed that after the UK handed over the sovereignty of the Chagos Archipelago, including Diego Garcia, to Mauritius, a vessel was offered by the British government to hoist its national flag there but Mauritius declined.
