ISRO has announced that India will launch the Mangalyaan-2 mission in 2030. It had launched Mars Orbiter Mission in 2013, making India the first Asian nation to reach Martian orbit. Unlike its predecessor, which was solely an orbiter, Mangalyaan-2 aims to deploy both an orbiter and a lander, with the potential addition of a small rover on the Red Planet.
