Villagers in Koyalari village in MP's Balaghat, where an X-shaped bridge was built around 15 years ago, claim that accidents occur on the bridge almost every month. They claim the authorities just repair the damaged portions and reopen the bridge for use. Notably, a bridge with 90-degree turn in Bhopal and Z-shaped bridge being constructed in Indore were recently criticised.
