A study, done by scientists from Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden, found that adult brains can generate neurons. The scientists found signs of neural stem cells growing in the hippocampus region of adults. The discovery reveals how our brains evolve as we get older. The title of the study is "Identification of proliferating neural progenitors in the adult human hippocampus".
