Hamas stated it had launched rockets at Israel for the first time since the ceasefire agreement collapsed between the two sides. The Israeli military said it intercepted one of the three projectiles of Hamas while the other two "fell into an open area". Notably, almost 400 people have been killed in Gaza in recent attacks by Israel.
