AIIMS-trained gastroenterologist Dr Saurabh Sethi has said chia seeds should be taken in the morning or pre-workout because their soluble fibre slows digestion and stabilises blood sugar. "Eat flax seeds in the morning as they can help reduce gut inflammation. Consume sesame seeds with dinner...Eat fennel seeds after every meal as they relieve gas and bloating," Sethi added.
